From Your Director

Have you been to the library today? If you have, are you coming in to check out one of the 7,880 print books? Or to ask for help accessing one of the 13,830 E-journals or 11,330 E-books? Are you looking for a quiet study space on campus, or do you need a piece of candy to get you through the next lecture? Maybe you are picking up some earplugs to use during your exam or you have scheduled a meeting with a librarian to talk about your research project. Or maybe you want some help using any one of our 49 research databases? Whatever the reason, we welcome you and hope that you will find a quiet, resourceful, environment to hone your medical knowledge and excel in your academic pursuits. We are dedicated to providing you with a user-focused library experience and we are committed to meeting your informational and research needs. See you in the library!

Featured Databases: New England Journal of Medicine

The journal started with its first issue in 1812 and has been at the front of medical information and publishing throughout its history. At KCU, students, staff, and faculty can find access to online copies of the text from the late 1990s to present day and can request copies of older issues going back to the 1950s. With innovation comes an opportunity to specialize and focus in, which introduces two of their newer journals with specific focus, NEJM Evidence and NEJM AI.

Both look into how specific topics relate to and influence medicine today. Click the links above to peruse the latest issues!

Congratulations to Abbey Griffith
