OMSI - D'Angelo Library Basics: E-Resources

This guide will give all OMSI students basic information about the Library that will help them in their first year of medical school.

Remote Access

The Library e-resources are available to all KCU students on or off campus. To use these resources, off-campus, go to the Library website and click on the resource you are wanting to use. You will be asked to login with your network username and password. 

Online Catalog

Search the Library's online catalog to find books, CDs, DVDs, journals, and many other materials.

Databases

The Library has an extensive list of databases that are available for both on-campus and off-campus use. You will need your student barcode and password to access these off-campus. Contact the Library if you do not know this information. Databases listed below are just a few of the databases available. For a full listing of databases, visit the A-Z Databases List.

E-Books

The D'Angelo Library's electronic book collection includes both free and restricted access books. You can search for any of the Library's e-books by subject or full/partial title using the Library's eResources Book Search. Several of your required textbooks are available online, and can be quickly accessed on the "Required Textbook" page.

Free Books 4 Doctors: A website that offers free medical books over the Internet.

Google Book Search: Google's full-text Internet book search.

E-Journals

Our e-journal collection is restricted to KCU students, faculty, and staff.
