What is Global Health?
Global health is a multidisciplinary and collaborative field that embraces transnational research and action to promote health equity for all. The field of global health includes socioeconomic, environmental, and cultural factors which may directly or indirectly affect health matters.
The Office of Global Affairs (OGA) is part of the HHS Office of the Secretary. OGA promotes the health of the world's population by advancing HHS's global strategies and partnerships and working with U.S. Government agencies in the coordination of global health policy, security and initiatives.
