Ambition Steps

At the rear of the property this stone structure's arches shaded Kiddy Kar Street. The front had six-inch high "Ambition Steps", called that because they were to serve as an inducement for the children to get exercise climbing to the top where toys and a playground awaited them.

This was once the Sun Cure Porch where the children received "heliotherapy".
